Robert Hobbs BA MSc FIoN MCIM - Robert has over thirty years sound international business experience, seven with Scottish shipping & freight forwarding companies. He spent six years in the Middle East as a senior executive with Saudi Arabia's largest logistics, property, plant & automotive distribution & retail trading group. During the course of this he was directly involved in many of the Kingdoms largest infrastructure & residential projects including a Bechtel JV - KKIA (Riyadh Airport) and numerous towns with a Mabco JV (over 25,000 houses & local amenities, hotels and hospitals)... For over twenty years he has been running outsourced consultancy services for companies in Scotland via Metis Group, Tradenet & Trust Real Estate. For the last ten years he has been an active property developer in the commercial (www.spiersbridge.co.uk) and residential sectors, where he master-planned and gained planning consents for over 250 properties. He has a 1st degree in Business Administration (Accounting & Marketing) and a Master of Science degree in Business Information Technology; he is also co-founder of the UK's Institute of Nanotechnology (www.nano.org.uk) and retains a keen interest in all things innovative & environmental. He has raised over £3 million over the past 15 years for West of Scotland Charities and co-founded CHAP (www.chap.org.uk) which serves people in need in Ayrshire
